The innovative Variable Speed DynaMotor with Brushless Motor Control delivers required power (torque)
at any desired speed. Speed range is determined by the number of
field polls built into the motor. One stage of gears, sprockets,
chains or drive is easily eliminated. By decreasing the number of
field poles in a DynaMotor, the speed is increased and the torque is
reduced. Models are available in speed ranges from 200-1200 rpm (8
pole), 400-2400 rpm (4 pole) and 800-4800 rpm (2 pole). Specialty
designs up to 15,000 rpm can also be delivered.
The DynaMotor is custom motor design with a stator that is connected directly to the AC line, with switching that occurs on the rotor at a very low rate, thus producing 99% less RFI and 90% lower ground currents. Ground current is less than 1 mA. DynaMotor is compliant with CE Certification Standard EN50011 Class A 3M right out of the box.
With a built-in encoder, the DynaMotor senses rotor speed and position, enabling closed-loop control and maintaining set speed within 2% when load, voltage or temperature changes. By combining the controller within the motor, DynaMotor eliminates separate controls, wiring and external factors.
